Visumax Femtosecond Laser
As one of the first facilities in Australia to use the new ZEISS VISUMAX® 800 Femtosecond Laser, we offer the latest in refractive laser technology. The VISUMAX® 800 from ZEISS offers reduced laser time in comparison to its predecessors, faster cut speeds, and intelligent assistant systems.
How does this work? The VISUMAX® 800 laser produces 500,000 pulses a second with each pulse producing a microscopic gas bubble that separates the surrounding corneal tissue. Thousands of precise computer-guided laser pulses join together to create a highly accurate incision in the corneal tissue.
Mel 90 Excimer Laser
The Carl Zeiss Mel 90 Excimer Laser compliments the VISUMAX® 800. The advanced aspheric ablation pattern effectively gives all eyes a customised treatment profile.
